Act TravelWise now has a solid base in Yorkshire, with a full-time desk at York Hub occupied by our Business Operations Manager, Randall Ghent. This will also be the base for the volunteer(s) that we are seeking (see separate announcement).

York Hub is a shared, serviced office space in York city centre. The facility includes a meeting room that seats six people, which is now available for our members' bookings at the discounted rate of £6/hour. Hot desks with wireless Internet are available for members at £15/day (reduced from £25/day).

Act TravelWise is seeking one or more volunteers for at least 7 hours per week at our York office (see related announcement), working with our Business Operations Manager.

This is an opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience, knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable transport and travel, or more generally with events, marketing and projects at the national and international level.
