The Department for Transport (DfT), supported by Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) and Transport Systems Catapult, has opened its recurring Transport-Technology Research Innovations Grant (T-TRIG) competition, offering fully-funded grants of up to £25,000 to help stimulate novel ideas in transport. Applications will be accepted from 29 June, with a deadline of midnight on 20 July 2015.

Cities and towns across Europe and further afield can now register their participation in European Mobility Week 2015. This year will be celebrated under the theme of multimodality, as represented by the slogan “Choose. Change. Combine.” Last year’s EMW saw citizens from 2,013 cities in 44 countries explore the benefits of embracing sustainable mobility.
