On 11 July the Department for Transport announced the recipients of its Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) 2015-16 funding. Forty-four new sustainable transport schemes will receive £64 million from government. Further match funding will bring the total investment to over £440 million. “New initiatives across the country will tackle congestion while making it easier, safer, and cheaper for people to cycle, walk or take the bus.” See the DfT press release for details. Congratulations to those of you who were successful bidders.
