The SUMP Guidelines continue to be used extensively across Europe since 2013. However, major new trends in many areas of urban mobility have emerged and a wealth of practical SUMP experience has been acquired over the last few years. This meant it was time to rethink and update the original SUMP Guidelines. A draft second edition is now open for comment until 9 July 2019. Local authorities are also invited to apply for the 8th SUMP Award, until 31 October 2019.

As there are a large number of suppliers (including consultants) among the Act TravelWise membership, we would like to more efficiently communicate the 'supplier offer' to the non-supplier members. This way everyone will have a clearer idea of the range of work conducted by each supplier, who to contact, and whether any member discounts are available. Our 'supplier profile form' will allow for this. If you are a member and a supplier, the form should be completed and returned by 1 May 2019.
