How do you actually go about planning and implementing a coherent local cycling and walking network? Speakers from Sustrans, West Yorkshire Combined Authority and City of York Council will address this question from different angles in this first-of-its-kind event. This will include attention to the objectives of the network, the public input and communication and the practical nuts and bolts of the infrastructure itself.
The 'Developing Cycling and Walking Networks' workshop will be held at Highways England in Leeds on Monday 26 June, 2:30 for 3:00 - 5:00 pm followed by the third Yorkshire & The Humber Regional Meeting from 5:30 - 7:00 pm with nearby pub social to follow.
